Manuel Antoio Grajales
Statement of Research:
My research looks at twentieth century Puerto Rican political/social movements and coalition building in the United States. My current focus is on Puerto Rican anti-war activism during the 1960s, specifically how groups like the Young Lords built coalitions to protest the Vietnam War. Other areas of interest include social movements in Latin America, transnational social networks, U.S./Latino Sports and society, and race, ethnicity, migration, and identity.
