MA Program

The Department offers the MA in a variety of fields: United States, Texas, Early Modern Europe 1500-1815, Modern Europe since 1815, Modern China/Modern Japan, Britain, France, Germany, Latin America, Russia /Soviet Union, science, technology, agriculture, gender, business and economics, military, and diplomatic.

PhD Program

For the PhD program, departmental and university resources are strongest in modern U.S. history, Diplomatic and Military History, Modern Europe and Comparative Border Studies (including the Atlantic World, Texas, and borders of gender and race).
